(1998) QtXNet was a tool to see and contact your online buddies. It was based on a central server, designed by Emmanuel Garcia. The Windows client was by Raphael Geronimi, and the Linux/Qt client by me.

QtXNet was used to share files, and it also included cool (hidden) features such as crashing your friends Windows-95 machine in 1 click.

(1996) Fast3D was a real-time 3D rendering software for Linux/Unix systems. It used shared memory to achieve >50fps rendering rate.
The computer was a Cyrix P150+ with a S3/Trio video card (no 3D chip).

Thanks to Stephane Gourichon for the sample code for direct access to X11 shared buffer : 'Affichage rapide sous X'

No pictures yet... Maybe sometimes... I'd like to find a backup of some of my early work. Let's share some souvenirs:
  • (1990) Graphical drawing of some stock market values and some computed indicators (such as RSI, volatility, ...) using GFABasic on Amiga-1000

  • (I entered a few hundred values by typing them one by one...)
  • (1991) Graphical simulation of algorithms to find the way out of a labyrinth (Turbo Pascal on PC-8086)
  • (1992) Reverse Polish List calculator with 2D drawing (discovering procedure recursion using Amiga-Basic!)
  • (1993) Some 3D programs, and some Amiga-hack for rendering 3D-textures without any 3D computation (68020 Assembly on Amiga 1200)
